Cretan Chronicles Continues!

Winter on Crete

Hello, fellow travelers!  I’m happy to announce that Crete is very much still on this traveler’s radar.  So much so, in fact, that we have been back to our old island stomping grounds three times in the past five years since returning to the States, and are visiting again in June.  My book, Uniquely Crete: Life Redefined on a Greek Island, will be released in 2019, (Holy cow! That’s less than 24 hours away!) more specifically in April with preorder options available on Amazon now!

Whether your preferred method of wandering is over air, land or sea, or lingering over a good travel book in the comfort of your own home, I invite you to reacquaint yourselves with my lovely island by perusing through these blogs.  Our years living on Crete as expats brought us to our knees many times in prayers for mercy, but mostly in deep gratitude. I hope my stories give a glimpse of the timeless beauty and alluring magic that is uniquely Crete.

If you are a past follower or have your own stories to tell about Crete, please leave your comment below.  I’d love to hear from fellow Cretan companions!

About Melanie A Crane

Quote: "The best journeys ask questions that in the beginning you never thought to ask." (Anon) Here's my journey: Enjoying my short life on this earth one moment at a time by being intentional with God, family, traveling, cooking, gardening, Colorado living and all the perks that come with it, playing guitar, listening more and talking less. I've discovered that both cooking and travel can be messy at times but the risks can have some amazing results. The same goes for life lived with passion.
